Hence, I have this travail of an odyssey to return home from my run around the world--running back in the other direction--and it must continue without delay.
To that end, today I pushed on for 7.5 (3.75 X 2) miles more.
Now I've only 24,970 miles to go. Or is that bottles of beer on the wall??

When thee picture a cat, we had Raptuz "enlightened" this thursday btw. We went to the wet to check an ear that had a most particular shape after a rendezvous with something heavy and fast carried on wheels. The bloody vet-lady told us with a slick smile that it was ssoooo cheap now to do the unspeakable thing, and before we knew anything we was out shopping while they proceeded with their terrible misdeed.
Steve, if you had seen the grin from the other (male too -for now at least) cat when we came in the door at home some hours later! It was nearly worth the damn price!
Raptuz is probably forgiving us - with time - but he said that the beer carriage on that mountain trip was just to forget..
With all that running of yours I guess your shape will be in such splendour that I'll have to make you run the Midnight Sun Marathon TWICE, forwards AND backwards. And THEN while your still warm in your legs I plan to load up a 500 pound sack full of nutritious vegetables, beer and cheerleaders! No, screw the cheerleaders, no I mean dont scre.. fu** Aww just forget the cheerleaders, Camilla will just get ideas and be jealouse! So, with the double marathon in your feet and that 500 pound sack I have calculated that I'll maybe be just able to follow you up in the mountains, to take a picture of me when I do a set of jumping jacks on the top of that pile of stones right besides the 2000 feet vertical fall.
I'm sorry to say...but it's only bottles of beers on the wall. Damn. Guess that means that you should buy some more and get drunk.

i find the best way to make a journey is to either take travellers, or in the case of a long trip such as yours, arrange to have beer at places along the way. so if you ever get discourage, just think of all the booze youre giving away...

Ha! Running through (F)Lakewood will keep you in shape, running away from all the other guys there! I actually lived there for about 4 months before I moved to a more rural setting. I remember an excellent Chinese restaurant on the corner of 150th (or is it Warren Rd?) and Madison next to the Warren Tavern. Oh, and there was a good sandwich shop there, also. That was back in '95, which was a good year considering how well the Tribe was doing then (and now).
