Well I've said for years China is the next big thing in all ways. And given the preference for male children in their culture the gender imbalance at some point is supposed to be like 100-200 millions more males than females. Which either means alot of unapproved gayness or the rest of the world will be marriage material.
I've also said future English will have lots of Spanish, Chinese, more tech lingo and the usual slang evolutions in it than now.
