Here I am just after a 5-mile 90 degree run today:
I’ve finally come to realize, after all, that I’m not an Englishman.

i'm with amber... although, i'm not a runner... however, bald men with goatees always get my vote for uber-sexy (i learned a new word!!!)
anyhow, i have been wondering for the longest time now, if you leave your laptop in your car as you run or if you carry it somewhere, stash it, and then retrieve it later, after your run. not that it matters that much at all... i just have these random thoughts every now and then...
and i'm always amazed at how beautiful you make the cemetary seem... with its strong stone and marble sentinels looming in the backgrounds of your pictures

It's so humid where I am. On my way to the car this morning I was already sweating and it wasn't even 8 am. But at work it's so freezing, we all wear sweaters or jackets.

Sweaty as you are, wether or not you gained from that jog or lost from it in a larger quantity is what tends to be the itch here...
You jogged and jogged.....and jogged, probably exercizing your muscle and mind, but lost your identity in the process. You really aren't an englishman, you're still that same child, sizzling in the summer sun, no matter how old you may turn out to be. You still have that twinge in the back of your head, telling you to go outside. Your mother may have stated you to be a mad dog, or an englishman, but you have chosen to be an outdoorsman, and now you simply have to choose where that might lead you to.
