My own opinion? Your stories have almost certainly made Xanga more
popular. In our society amongst youth, taboo = attraction.

well my opinion is taht if parents paid more attention to what their children were doing online there would not be that problem....i have a 14 year old who also has a xanga and i monitor his, even had the password to get in it and i make sure there is no personal information on there...

This is wierd...I clicked cancel on one of my friends xangas and it brought me here...To someone from Ohio...I'm from Maryland. I don't think you're even suscribed to her xanga. Nice layout though.
I'm like you NFP I've been around this place for over 4yrs now. I've never had any problems with it (apart from meeting my partner here of course. LOL)
Kids don't think about what they do before they do it.. of course there are going to be kids putting stuff up on their sites that they shouldn't if it's not their cell numbers it'll be porn or photos taken of themselves on thier cellphones. If it wasn't collected together at xanga it'd be on Live Journal, Geocities, or Yahoo.
