Day: October 20, 2004

  •

Just done running 5 miles while taking no ghosts prisoner.

Feeling very wild with all senses sharp, attuned: seeing.

A bit grungy, but fine with that.  No need to be a pretty boy doing what I’m doing.

Who can wait for the moment of action?

Pondering, poised, and all wound up.

  • Prediction: The day will come on Xanga when the majority of bloggers are from Hong Kong / China and blogfont support for Chinese is mandated.  Though   I don’t have access to the stats, my impression is that there’s a huge influx of new bloggers daily both from the mainland and Hong Kong.

In fact, I think that Xanga was named with this in mind.  The great Xanga master plan now unfolds: to capture the thronging market of the billions in China surging online.  For you see, “Xanga” is an ancient Chinese tribe:

Tartarischen Cham, or Emperor of Sina. (Page 201)

Has now the name Hieuking. The eighth or last one, situated to the Northwest, is known with the name Pingan. Emperor Vuus, who, as first, established the Tribe Cheva, gave as fief this county, around the year, after Christ' birth, eleven hundred and twenty one, to certain Kicius, who existed in kinship to the Emperor from the Tribe Xanga.

Tribe!  heh.  Are you ready?  I can read Chinese at the 4th grade level and climbing.
